[摘要] 高层住宅中出现了翼缘长度不足的剪力墙和一字型剪力墙，本文从满足墙体稳定时的容许承载力设计值及其轴压比入手，提出了通过在墙体两端设置型钢进而提高剪力墙延性的设计思路。

Thinking to the shear-wall   without   flange

Abstract: This article begins with the analysis on the design- value of allowable bearing-capacity and axial compression ration of the shear-wall, and presents  the designing method about improving the ductility of  the shear-wall by setting the steel-reinforced in the both ends ofthe shear-wall.
