基于CBC 2007的南加州医院结构抗震设计*

[摘要] 地处美国加利福尼亚州南部地震区的一幢医院结构采用屈曲约束支撑框架作为抗侧力体系。介绍了该工程的结构布置、两阶段分析、平面不规则验算与冗余度计算、屈曲约束支撑框架设计以及楼盖和基础设计等主要分析设计结果。据此,总结出南加州抗震设计的基本思路是选取合理的耗能构件并保证其发挥作用,以及构建抗侧力体系各结构构件间可靠的传力路径。有助于我国抗震设计人员了解南加州抗震设计实践的基本思想与特色。

Seismic design of hospital structure in Southern California based on CBC 2007

Abstract: The lateral force resisting system of a hospital structure located in Southern California consists of buckling restrained braced frames (BRBF). The main aspects of the seismic design of the hospital structure were introduced, including the structural plan, two stage analysis, plan irregularity check and redundancy factor calculation, BRBF design, diaphragm and foundation design. The design philosophy governing the seismic design of overall structural system in Southern California can be reflected in the selection of appropriate energy dissipating structural component and ensuring reliable load transfer path among various structural components of the lateral force resisting system. It can be helpful for understanding seismic design philosophy and characteristics of the well known seismic region of Southern California.
