    Talking about seismic countermeasure from bridge damage in Wenchuan Earthquake

Abstract: By introducing typical bridge damage samples in Wenchuan earthquake, the failure modes of bridges were discussed. Based on the failure modes, aseismatic measures were put forward, which were valuable for new bridges design and existing bridges reinforcements in similar regions of strong earthquake.
