Abstract: The design ideas of transforming and reinforcing a steel chimney and the design processes during the project of designing the expansion of WISCO No.l blast furnace overhaul of technical transformation were introduced, including the transformation of the hole mouth cross-section reinforcement selection, wind load calculations, the reinforcement calculation and processing, and so on. It has reference value for the similar projects.
