Analysis and seismic fortification measures of timber houses in the villages and small towns

Abstract: The characteristic of timber houses in villages and small towns of China was presented. Based on the investigation of seismic damage hazards to timber houses, the reasons of seismic damage were analyzed. The advices about seismic fortification measures to increase seismic performances of timber houses in villages and small towns were put forward.
