(陕西省宝鸡市民用建筑勘察设计院,宝鸡 721001)[摘要] 通过四川汶川5.12地震的亲身体验,地震引起的地面波是建筑物、构筑物破坏的直接原因。这种地面面波不但使建筑物产生水平加速度和竖向加速度而受其害,而且作用于建筑基础上使建筑物直接受害。地震对建筑物的破坏机理需要探究,目前情况下,抗震概念设计则相当重要。

( Civil Building Reconnaissance and Design Research Institute of Baoji City, Shanxi Province, Baoji 721001, China)Abstract: Drawing on the firsthand experience of Wenchuan 5.12 Earthquake, it is found that surface waves caused by earthquake are mainly responsible for the damage of buildings and structures. Surface waves damage buildings not only by giving them horizontal acceleration and longitudinal acceleration but by acting on the base of buildings. The mechanisms of earthquake's damage on buildings calls for further probing, but at least we might claim that conceptual earthquake-resistant design is rather important.
