局部钢套管约束RC柱试验研究*

[摘要] 为了将钢套管约束技术合理应用于新建桥梁柱,以部分或完全取代柱底塑性铰区域传统的加密箍筋约束做法,从而提高桥梁柱的施工简易性、震后可修复性并充分发挥约束混凝土的优势,提出了局部钢套管约束RC柱的等效化设计方法及相应的施工过程,进行了一组传统箍筋约束RC柱与局部钢套管约束RC柱在恒定轴压力和水平低周往复加载下的初步对比试验,并利用OpenSEES程序对两根试件柱进行了数值模拟分析。试验结果表明,局部钢套管约束柱试件与传统箍筋约束RC柱试件具有相似的刚度、承载力与延性性能,数值模拟结果与试验结果符合较好。通过对两根柱试件试验现象及理论分析结果进行对比,证明了约束效应等效化原则设计方法的有效性,局部钢套管约束RC柱能够通过合理设计取得与传统箍筋约束RC柱相似的抗震表现。最后对进一步研究提出了建议。

Experimental study on partially steel tube-confined RC column

Abstract: In tlus study the steel jacketing technology was proposed to be used in new design bridge columns. By partially or completely replacing the transverse hoops conventionally used for confinement at the plastic hinge regions at column ends with extemally installed steel tube, the constructability and post-earthquake repairability of bridge columns can be improved and better confinement effect can be achieved. The design approach for the proposed partially tube confmed RC (PTCRC) column based on confinement effect equivalence principle and the corresponding construction process were suggested. A pair of specimens consisting of a conventional RC column and a PTCRC column was tested under constant axial load and low cycle reversed horizontalload. The OpenSEES program was used to numerically simulate the behavior of the tested specimens. Test results show that the PTCRC column exhibits sinular performance to the conventional RC column in terms of stiffness, strength and deformation characteristics. The numerical simulation results agree well with the test results. Based on the comparison of experimental and theoretical results between the two specimens, it is verified that the design approach following the confinement effect equivalence principle is effective. The proposed partially tube confined RC column can be designed to have similar seismic behavior to the conventional RC column. Further research needs are also pointed out in tlus paper.
