[提要]  介绍一个在水平力作用下，框架侧移新的近似计算方法。系用节点杆端综合抗弯刚度导出的A值法。不但可计算框架因弯曲及剪切变形产生的侧移；而且还可计算因轴向变形产生的侧移。经比较精度较高。

A new approximate method, A-value methocl, for calculating sidesway of frames subjected to horizon-tal external forces is presented. It can calculate sidesways induced by bending, shearing, and axial deformations. This method has been proved to be a more accurate one as compared with the others访use.
