[提要] 本文介绍了1996年5月3日发生的包头地震中电力工业建筑的震害和加固补强方案，并对电力工业建筑进行了震害分析，提出了今后的设计建议。

The seismic damage on power industry buildings in Baotou earthquake on April 3rd in 1996 and its fol-
lowed strengthening methods are described in this article, meanwhile, seismic damage analysis on power industry buildings is carried out and future design advice is given as well.
