[提要]  以在山东东营地区近九年的观测和研究为依据，简要论述了滨海盐渍土的形成、工程力学特性及其对工程的影响，并对此类地区的工程设计和施工提出了合理建议。

Based on the recent nine years observation and research, this paper briefly discusses the mechanism of forming, mechanical properties ofcoastal saline soil and the main factors which bring the important influence to buildings. Some reasonable comments on design and construction of the work in this area are put forward.
