[提要]  分析了工程中采用箱形扩展基础的原因，阐述了箱基底板几何尺寸的确定、扩展式箱基的计算方法和外伸部分的配筋。

The reason of spread box foundation adopted in a project is analyzed. The determination of geometry for the box foundation bed plateform, the design of spread box foundation and the extension reinforcement in the foundation are briefly introduced.
