[提要]  建立了FPS(Friction Pendulum System)隔震多层剪切型结构水平和竖向耦合振动微分方程，通过时程响应计算阐述了水平地震作用下FPS的隔震效果和结构的水平和竖向振动响应规律。

The differential vibration equations of shear-typed multistory buildings with FPS bearings are estab-
lished, the isolation effects of FPS isolator and some horizontal and vertical vibration responses laws of the structures to horizontal ground motions are expounded.
