[提要]  简要回顾了现行《钢结构设计规范》( GBJ17-88)在使用过程中遇到的一些问题，并简要介绍了该规范修订版( GB50017)的主要修订内容，具体包括材料、设计原则、受弯构件计算、轴心受压构件计算、压弯构件计算、疲劳计算、连接计算、构造要求、塑性设计、钢管结构、钢与混凝土组合梁等。

This paper reviews the problems encountered in application of the Code for Design of Steel Structure( GBJ17-88) and introduces the principal contents of the revised edition of above code GB50017 in brief.
