威海体育场挑篷索膜结构风洞试验研究*

[提要]  介绍了威海体育场看台挑篷索膜结构风洞测压试验结果,分析了其风压分布的特点,并给出了可供实际结构计算时参考的风荷载值。试验研究表明,对于这种大型、复杂、对风荷载作用敏感的结构,进行系统的风荷载试验与研究是十分必要的。

Weihai palaestra is an innovative multi-purpose facility that can accommodate 30 000 spectators. The roof of the palaestra is a saddle-shaped ring that is a cantilevered spatial structure, which is made up of 34 umbrella-like membrane structures. Due to long-span roofs are vulnerable to wind load, particular attention was given to the Weihai palaestra to accurately determine the wind coefficient of the overhanging roof by wind tunnel test. Also some suggestions on the saddle-shaped roof design to avoid the damage from wind load are given.
