The article takes the case of addition of storey for a building with mega frame in Yangquan,mainly introduces the structure system selection, the determination of transfer story structure, prestress reinforce disposition and the extraction style and the construction of transfer floor beam when nine storeys were added to the four storey Building. An example for large-span and large-scale addition of storey is provided, and may be taken as the reference in design and construction.
