[提要]  回顾了30余年来岩土工程勘察规范的历史沿革，讨论了国家标准《岩土工程勘察规范》的性质和作用。对国家标准《岩土工程勘察规范》( GB50021-2001)的修订背景条件与主要修订的内容做了详细的介绍。

The revise of code for investigation of geotechnical engineering is introduced. The advantage in last thirty years on the code is reviewed. The nature and the function of code for investigation of geotechnical engineering are discussed. The background and the main point of this revised edition of code( CJP)50021-2001) are introduced in detail.
