[提要]  广州国际会议展览中心建筑面积达40万m2，混凝土楼面跨度为30m×30m，钢屋盖跨度达126.6m，建筑面积及跨度均为国内同类建筑之最，在结构设计中融合了多种新技术。结合会展中心结构设计特点，详述有关设计要点及成果，供同行在同类设计中参考。

Architectural area of Guangzhou International Conference and Exhibition is about 400 000mz,  span of concrete floor is 30m×30m, and span of steel roof is 126.6m. The architectural area and structure span of the GICE are the largest comparing with other similar structures in China. Many new technologies have been applied in the design and construction. This paper presents some main points and achievements of design for reference to colleagues.
