[提要]  湘潭大学体育馆由室内篮球馆及室外游泳池两部分组成，屋盖结构由两片圆柱面钢网壳平行交叉而成，形成覆盖室内篮球馆的主体部分及覆盖游泳池看台的挑篷部分，采用斜拉结构形式。就结构选型、计算模型、荷载与边界条件的选取、结构分析与截面选择等方面进行了介绍，并对结构方案的优越性进行了论证。

Xiangtan University gymnasium is composed of basketball and swimming gymnasium. The roof structure is made up of two pieces of cylindrical grid shell which intersected parallelly and stayed by cable-structure, main body is used to cover the basketball gymnasium and cantilever is used to cover the bleachers of swimming pooI.The structure form, calculating model, loads and boundary condition, structure analysis and member section choice are introduced. Superiority of the used plan is demonstrated at last.
