[提要]  主要介绍筒子楼改扩建设计中建筑、结构、设备各工种设计的特点及处理方法，并列举了相应的工程实例，可为同类工程设计提供有益的借鉴。

Based on the design experience of the reconstruction and extension projects of several masonry single room apartments, the authors summarize the design feature in architecture, structure and facilities, and discuss some approaches in the design process, which are noteworthy. Examples of practical projects are also introduced and may have some reference value for similar design.
