[提要]  通过研究长短桩复合地基的受力机理，提出了长短桩复合地基的沉降计算模式和实用的计算方法；应用该方法作了某高层住宅设计的沉降算例分析，证明该方法可以很方便地应用于工程实践。

Based on researching the bearing mechanism of the long-short-pile composite foundation, the model and methods of settlement calculation have been proposed. The settlement analysis of a tall dwelling house has been done with this methods.This methods is convenient when it is put into practice.
