[提要]  已有砖砌体房屋常因功能改变而需要更大的使用空间，部分承重墙体的抽除必将导致传力途径的改变，进而需对原有结构进行加固。在材料、设备或技术受到限制时，可采用以钢筋和混凝土为材料的增大截面的加固方法，成功的关键在于谨慎的态度和合理的加固方案。

Some bearing-walls of a masonry building need to be removed for a more wide space. The supporting structure should be strengthened to adapt to the change of force-transmission path. When material, equipment or technique is restricted, an enlarging-area approach using concrete and steel bars can be utilized. The key to succeed is cautious attitude and a rational strengthening scheme.
