[提要]  首次将遗传算法( GA)引入双层圆柱面网壳结构的优化设计中，实现了对网格尺寸、结构厚度、矢跨比的同步优化。编制了相应的程序，并进行了大量的算例分析，结果证明用GA算法优化网壳结构是高效的。

We firstly proposed that genetic algorithm could be used in the optimization design of double-layer cylindrical latticed shell, which realized the synchronous optimization of the rise/span ratio, grid size and the vault thickness. Through compiling programs and analyzing samples, we have proved the excellent performance of this method.
