Abstract: Push-over analyses are applied for the complete responses of frame-wall buildings．The effects of structural walls on the elastic-plastic responses of frame-wall buildings are mainly investigated．The disciplinary conclusions are drawn by examining the responses of buildings with different stiff character coefficient，different number of stories and different of story drift allowance．The most important factor is stiff characteristic coefficient，while the number of stories contributes 1ittle to the distribution of internal forces．
