基于振动台试验的18层钢结构抗倒塌性能研究

[摘要]介绍了E-Defense振动台试验结果,以研究极罕遇地震下钢结构高层建筑破坏和倒塌行为。根据20世纪八九十年代规范和工程实践的设计数据,试验体为18层钢框架结构的1/3缩尺模型。输入的地面运动是按照同时发生在日本东海、东南海和南海的地震计算出的一种假定的长周期长持时的强烈地震动。对试验体进行了系列级数渐增的地震动,直至其完全倒塌。结构的屈服开始于较低楼层横梁以及1层柱脚。通过增加地震动级数后,裂纹开始出现在焊接及断裂的横梁边缘处,且蔓延到较低楼层。随着楼层间的剪切强度下降,较低楼层的位移增大,最终框架倒塌至支撑框架上。试验结果阐明了高层钢结构的典型破坏过程,得到了考虑由局部失稳和断裂引起的退化的钢构件的滞回特性。

Collapse behavior study of 18-story steel structure building based on shaking table test

Abstract:Results of a shaking table test conducted at the E-Defense shaking table facility were introduced to investigate damage and collapse behaviors of the high-risesteel structure building under exceedingly large ground motions. The experimental specimen was a 1/3 scaledmodel of 18-story steel frame structure building designed and constructed according to design specifications and practices in date from 1980s to 1990s. The input ground motion was a hypothetical long-period and long-duration strong ground motion calculated as a coinstantaneous earthquake of Tokai, Tonankai and Nankai Earthquakes. The building specimen was subjected to a series of progressively increasing scaled motion until complete collapse. Experimental results show that the yielding of the steel frame structure begins in horizontal beams in lower stories and column bases of the first story. After several excitations by increasing scaled motions, cracks initiate at the welded moment connections and fracture of beam flanges spread to the lower stories. As the decrease of shear strength of stories, the drifts of lower stories increase and finally the frame collapsesto settle on the supporting frame. In the experiment, a typical process of collapse of thehigh-rise steel frame structure and hysteretic behaviors of steel structural members including local buckling and fracture were obtained.
