搭接宽度对PTFE薄膜连接强度的影响研究

[摘要]对三种型号的长条形聚四氟乙烯(PTFE)薄膜连接试件进行了7种搭接宽度(20,30,40,50,60,70,80mm)下的单轴拉伸试验,得到了相应的应力\|应变曲线、薄膜破坏形式以及连接强度的变化规律。结果表明,当搭接宽度为20~30mm时,PTFE薄膜试件破坏位置多发生于搭接热合区内或者热合区边缘处;当搭接宽度大于30mm时,薄膜试件破坏位置则发生于母材区域范围内;在搭接宽度为30~40mm时,PTFE薄膜的连接强度基本可以达到母材抗拉强度的80%,在搭接宽度为50~60mm时,PTFE薄膜的连接强度基本可以达到母材抗拉强度。

Study  on effect of lap with on connection strength of PTFE coated fabrics

Abstract:Uniaxial extension tests were carried out on three kinds of Poly Tetra Fluoro Ethylene (PTFE) coated fabric connection specimens with  seven different lap widths including 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 and 80mm. The variation trends of stress-strain curve, failure mode  and connection strength were obtained from the tests. The test results show that the failure location of PTFE coated fabric specimens occurs in  heat sealing area or at the edge of the heat sealing zone if lap width is 20~30mm; the failure location appears on the base meterial if lap width is greater than 30mm; the connection strength of membrane can  achieve 80% of base meterial if lap width is 30~40mm while the coated fabric can reach base meterial strength if lap width is 50~60mm.
