[摘要]  本文阐述了震区既有建筑抗震评估，鉴定和加固的重要性及迫切性，并对我国建筑现有抗震评估与鉴定系统作了简要介绍。另外，给出了结构后役期内的设防烈度再评估的方法以及建筑房屋加固方法的特点及适用性。

Research of seismic assessment and appraisement of existing buildings as well as strengthening measures in seismic region

Abstract: Importance and urgency of seismic assessment and appraisement of existing buildings as well as strengthening measures in seismic region are illustrated in this paper. The systems of seismic assessment and appraisement in China are also briefly introduced. Furthermore, re-assessment of fortification intensity of structures during succeed use period is presented with the characteristic and applicability of strengthening measures in the end.
